Kerry and Russell | A-Frame Wedding
Kerry and Russell from Brooklyn, NY celebrated their recent wedding nuptials over a two day weekend in Los Angeles with friends and family. The first day was at the A-Frame, an unpretentious, eclectic restaurant in a lovely space ran by the ultra-talented Chef Roy Choi. The style is modern picnic serving comfort food with a kick and house made drink concoctions. We were so delighted to participate in such a colorful, delicious and fun weekend with the sweet couple. After the guests arrived there was a simple ceremony. Kerri’s dear friend read a short story about two dinosaurs in love. Andrew, Russell’s brother spoke kind words about the couple and then Kerry and Russell shared sweet vows followed by a blessing from the patriarch of the Sun family. After the ceremony the guest enjoyed cocktails, Furikake popcorn and pickled vegetables on the picnic tables outside. A memorable lunch of grilled corn bread, shrimp tempura, crackin’ beer can chicken, vegetable nests and ribs were served. The a-frame building was full of laughter and happy bellies as the final dish was placed on the tables, warm pound cake Churros and a malted chocolate milkshake for dunking. The meal and company, indeed the entire celebration was stupendous.
